caLLie cLine - Miss December 2008

Announcing our 9th avatar--caLLie cLine! caLLie's history in Second Life begins back in July 2005, and since then her career has gone off like a rocket. Her accomplishments only start with being a writer for the AvaStar, the owner of a beach club and resort on the popular Motorati sims, and the founder and owner of caLLiefornia. As the first "spokesavatar" for Pontiac, she defined a whole new category of virtual marketing, and she's been recognized as a Maxim Hot 100 girl (#95) in May 2007, and a Maxim Today Girl in July 2007, appearing alongside such A-list celebrities as Drew Barrymore, Shania Twain, Scarlett Johansen, and more.

Other real-life appearances include VH1, Newsweek, and the International Herald Tribune. She was also one of three designers chosen for the iVillage fashion show, as well as the dresser of Arianna Huffington's avatar. Today, she's expanded her work to include a home store, the club Caffeine au Go-Go, and the Tomboy clothing store, and remains extremely active in both Second Life fashion and charity work. While all these accomplishments are impressive, caLLie's greatest joy in SL is her one on one interactions with customers, and being a part of what she thinks is an amazingly creative group of people--people who are pioneers in a whole new world!
